Hospitals on Fire

Ten days of Syrian regime airstrikes and shelling in Aleppo supported by Iran and Russia publicly have killed more than 400 people, thrusting the divided city back into all-out war.

Two days ago, more than thirty medical staff and patients were killed in an airstrike on Al Quds Hospital in Aleppo. The last standing pediatrician in the stricken city Dr. Muhammad, was killed in the attack as well.

We all know that targeting hospitals and civilians during war time is strictly forbidden in International Humanitarian Law, thus the act is considered a “war crime”. But who cares?
