Kunan Poshpora incident in Kashmir

Occupied Kashmir:

February 23, 1991:  A unit of the Indian army gang-raped more than 110 women during a search and interrogation operation in the village of Kunan Poshpora during night, located in Kashmir’s remote Kupwara District, and allegedly carried out one of the largest-scale, and most publicized acts of mass rape in the history of the Kashmir conflict.

During war or armed conflicts, rape is frequently used as a means of psychological warfare in order to humiliate the enemy. Wartime sexual violence may occur in a variety of situations, including institutionalised sexual slavery, wartime sexual violence associated with specific battles or massacres, and individual or isolated acts of sexual violence. But when it comes to our beloved India, the so-called Democratic country, this “rape weapon” is used even during peacetime against civilians not enemies for the purpose of fun!

Shame on such armies that claims to defend their country against enemies, yet they attack those who are asking for their freedom.

Indian rulers must be held accountable for such illegal and filthy acts, since such crimes are still ongoing in the Broken Kashmir. I wonder where are the United Nations or the so called Human Rights Defenders at when it comes to Kashmir case?! Blind and deaf?
