Operation Mersad in Iran

July 1988: Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK) members were killed in “Operation Mersad” by Pasdaran (Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution) in Kermanshah/ Iran.

Conflicts emerged between this organization (Mujahedeen Khalq) and the new Iranian regime after 2 years and a half of the so-called Islamic Revolution (Khumayni) and still ongoing till now.

The Iranian government has executed tens of thousands of the members who belong to this organization after betraying them, as the members of MEK were helping AL-Khumayni in toppling the “Shah” rule, but the organization decided to continue its activities inside and outside Iran in order to topple the current Iranian Government.
